The Herons responded fantastic to an early third-minute goal they conceded. Messi led the fronting charge, of course, but Busquets and Luis Suarez were brilliant, too.
The Argentine ended the evening with seven goals this season, topping the MLS scoring charts across the entire league. Firmly planting his feet in the Golden Boot race, Messi showed why he is MVP quality, as well.

The Herons are back in action next Saturday against former MLS MVP Carles Gil and the New England Revolution. Messi and co. will be searching for another three points against an Eastern Conference opponent.
